Carolyn Bramhall leads a Christian charity which supports churches and counselling groups, both in Britain and across the world, who work with people struggling with mental illness and past trauma.
As a trained counsellor as well as a survivor of horrific abuse, with its disturbing consequences, I am able to offer a unique perspective of both sides of the helping divide.
I love to speak of the hope that we have not only to get through apparently insurmountable difficulties, but to positively thrive. I live in Newbury, Berkshire, England; am married to a retired clergyman; have two adult children and three grandchildren. I spend many happy hours in my garden which is my other passion, and am a voracious reader.
